These shrines are dedicated to 5 Jain Teerthankaras i.e. Parshvanath, Sambhavanath, Mahavira, Shantinath and Neminath. According to a legend, Seth Vimal Shah was ordered by Goddess Ambika to build 360 Jain shrines. He constructed all the temples but forgot to install the idol of the Goddess; as a result the Goddess destroyed all the 360 temples in fury except these five shrines. Later on Vimal Shah set up the idol of Ambika Mata in the rest 5 temples.

All the temples are north-facing, made of white marble and are engraved with gorgeous statues of deities, musicians and damsels.  The architecture of these Jain temples reflects the Jain culture and they also depict the medieval era.
